Our story
Originating from my travels across Asia with my two young daughters, the idea to open a bubble tea shop blossomed. Inspired by the vibrant culture and flavours experienced during our adventures, I envisioned bringing a taste of Asia to Yorkshire.
So, after over 20 years of working in a corporate job, with the encouragement from my girls, I decided to make the leap, aiming to share the joy and memories of those journeys with you.

Boba
Boba, also known as bubble tea, is a delightful beverage that originated in Taiwan and has taken the world by storm. It features a unique combination of tea, milk, and chewy tapioca pearls (boba) that create a fun and refreshing drinking experience. At Boba & Bao, we craft our bubble tea with care, choosing not to add too much sugar to maintain a balanced flavour. However, if you prefer a sweeter taste, please let us know.
