Terms & Conditions

1) Who We Are

We sell plushies, merch, stationery and related accessories online and in-store.

2) Using Our Website

You agree not to misuse the site (e.g., attempt to harm, scrape, or disrupt). We may update content/prices and correct errors at any time, and we may refuse or cancel orders we reasonably suspect are fraudulent or for resale.

3) Ordering & Contract Formation

Your order is an offer to buy. We will email an order acknowledgement; the contract is formed when we email a dispatch confirmation.
If we cannot fulfil an order (e.g., stock error), we will cancel and refund you promptly to your original payment method.

4) Prices & Payment

Prices are in GBP and include UK VAT (where applicable). Promotions can change without notice. If a pricing error is obvious and could reasonably be recognised as such, we may cancel before dispatch.

5) Delivery

We use Evri (Hermes) as our primary delivery partner.

  • Standard Delivery (Evri): Orders are usually delivered within 2–4 working days once dispatched.
  • Tracked Delivery: All parcels include tracking so you can check the status of your order online.
  • Delivery Charges:
    • Standard Evri delivery: £3.99 per order.
    • Free delivery on orders over £40.
  • Dispatch Times: Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–2 working days.
  • Delays: While we do our best to ensure timely delivery, we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by Evri or circumstances beyond our control (e.g. weather, strikes, peak periods).
  • Delivery Address: Please ensure your delivery address is correct at checkout. We cannot accept responsibility for lost or delayed items due to incorrect information provided by the customer.

Processing: Orders placed Mon–Fri dispatch in 1–2 working days. Orders after 11am on Fri is shipped Monday.

Click & Collect: Free from Horsforth shop, collect within 7 days after notification.

Delivery issues: Check safe places/neighbours. Allow 10 days for an investigation before replacement/refund.

6) Pre-orders & Back Orders

Pre-order dates are estimates. We ship when all items are available unless you request split shipments (extra postage). If a pre-order cannot be fulfilled, we will cancel and refund.

7) Returns, Exchanges & Your Rights

Change-of-mind returns: 30 days from delivery/collection, unused & in resale condition. Refunds to original payment method. Return postage is customer’s responsibility. Exchanges: reorder; we’ll refund original once received.

Distance-selling rights: UK law provides 14 days from delivery to cancel, and another 14 to return. Refund within 14 days of receipt/proof of return. Outbound postage refunded up to cheapest standard option.

Faulty/not-as-described: Short-term right to reject within 30 days for full refund. After 30 days, repair/replace first.

Exclusions: personalised/customised items, unsealed consumables, gift cards.

How to return: Email boba_and_bao@outlook.com with order number. Pack securely. Use tracked post. Refunds within 14 days of receipt/proof of return.

In-store purchases: 30-day goodwill policy (receipt required). Statutory faulty-goods rights still apply.

8) Gifts & Gift Receipts

Refunds go to the original purchaser. Gift returns may receive store credit at our discretion.

9) Product Information & Safety

Keep soft toys away from flames. Check age grading and care labels. Colours/placement may vary slightly between batches; images are illustrative.

10) Promotions & Bundles

Promotions cannot be combined unless stated. If you return part of a bundle/threshold offer, we will re-calculate and refund accordingly.

11) Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for indirect/consequential losses beyond the price paid for the product, unless required by law. Statutory rights unaffected.
